Assistant Manager Projects
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in FMCG, preferably in food manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Scheduling: Support creation of detailed project plans, identify task dependencies and maintain integrity of project schedules using tools like MS Project or Excel.
- Productivity & Cost Reduction: Analyze improvement areas and initiate cost reduction plans.
- Risk and issue management: Identify potential bottlenecks and document mitigation strategies. Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues and Dependencies) to prevent project derailment.
- Governance & compliance: Ensure all documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes and change requests meets internal audit standards.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Acts as a primary communication hub between internal technical teams, external vendors and clients.
- Process Improvement and Optimization
- Identify bottlenecks, design, and lead improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce waste. Utilize methodologies like Kaizen, 5S, and lean six sigma to drive continuous improvement.
- Development, tracking, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of Operations
Skills & Competencies
- Should have knowledge of project management software (like MS Projects) and data visualization tools.
- Should be proficient in using MS Office
- Proficiency with kaizen and lean six sigma tools.
- Must have analytical skills to identify problem and resolve it
- Soft Skills: Must possess strong leadership, conflict resolution and the ability to multitask under high-pressure environments.
